Stephen Jackson currently serves as the Director of Content and Communications for TechSoup. Jackson joined TechSoup in 2017. Previously he worked as a content writer, content producer, and journalist for nearly a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to this role, he worked as Department Chair of Special Ed at Galileo Academy of Science and Technology, a school operating in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). Jackson has a degree in philosophy from Colorado College and a master’s degree in learning and instruction from the University of San Francisco.
Matthew Zachary is a 26-year brain cancer survivor and one of the most respected, influential, and visionary voices in healthcare.
An award-winning concert pianist and film composer, he is the "Podfather" of healthcare broadcasting, amassing listenership in the millions since 2007. Hailed as "The Howard Stern" and "The People's Voice" of healthcare, he is currently the host of "Out of Patients with Matthew Zachary," a Top-10 healthcare podcast.
As the Founder of the award-winning nonprofit Stupid Cancer, he created the national Young Adult Cancer Movement and improved the lives of millions of patients in their teens, 20s, and 30s.
Matthew is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of OffScrip Health, the first audio broadcasting company focused solely on consumer health and patient engagement.
He lives with his wife and twins in Brooklyn, NY.
Erika has worked in the nonprofit sector and local government, particularly in recreation. She is pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service at Ohio University, where she has focused on nonprofit leadership and management. She began her career as the director of a neighborhood center and park (in Raleigh, NC), where she had the privilege of serving the Spanish-speaking community. Most recently, she has worked at the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and the YMCA of Central Ohio. She currently lives in Columbus, OH, with her husband and daughter.
Eric Ryan has dedicated 25 years of his professional life to service. He is the co-founder of Mission Met, a company devoted to making strategic planning easier and more effective for nonprofit and organizational leaders around the world. In addition to his consulting work, he has started one nonprofit, been an executive director, and served on several boards as both treasurer and board chair. A graduate of UC Berkeley, he lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
